Patience becomes the central skill when working with unhybridised equatorial genetics. Plants grown from pure sativa seeds may flower for sixteen to twenty weeks, and certain Thai or Colombian lines continue adding new pistils well past the point where hybrid growers would have harvested. Indoors this means a single cycle can occupy a tent for five months or more. Growers who accept the timeline are rewarded with plants unlike anything found in mainstream catalogs.
